 We dressed up this Jaguar with our beautiful black and white dance floor, pin spot lighting and let the good times roll with some jazz/swing music and of course some mouth watering food and Maryland wines.

Well, the dog days of summer are finally here! The event world in June was a virtual whirlwind of activity. From the beautiful Washington Redskins Cheerleaders on Rockville Pike to the sounds of classical music at stately Strathmore, to political events we provided our clients and friends with new business, good times, and classical entertainment.

Restaurant Grand Opening

 Restaurant Grand Openings need a little zip to get the crowds rolling in. We hired the talented and attractive Washington Redskins Cheerleaders to add a little sizzle to Cici Grand Opening in Rockville. The cheerleaders proved to be great marketing partners adding the event to their website which gets over 70,000 hits per week.
The Redskins Cheerleaders are off to Spain for a swimsuit shoot and will spend the 4th of July entertaining the troops in Iraq. EE will be doing more Grand Openings with them later this summer.

A Man for all Seasons

 Dick Bennett, Miles & Stockbridge attorney and local Republican leader, was appointed as a District Court Judge. Over 400 of his closest friends came to the ceremony. Much to Dick's credit both Republicans and Democrats joined in the celebration. Paul Sarbanes, Bob Erhlich, and Maryland's civic and legal leaders joined in the post appointment celebration.
Congratulations to Dick on the appointment and to his bi-partisan support. We could use a little more of that in the political arena! While talking politics the Capitol Steps perform incredibly funny political satire if you want some topical entertainment for a future event.

Performing Arts Gala

Fundraising was taken to a new level at Strathmore. Strathmore's Gala raised over $5M for their new $50M performing arts center. I walked over to the construction site at sunset during dinner and marveled at the Roman Coliseum like structure that overlooks the last 11 acres of sylvan paradise in downtown Rockville. It made me proud to be an American.
It was like the Golden Age of Athens was being recreated with a new Parthenon. The guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, a video production of the construction, and some great music.

Tropical Decor

 Moving on to downtown Baltimore. We created a stunning sandcastle for the main sponsor of a convention. The sponsor liked the sandcastle so much they wanted to buy it.
Luckily we saved the castle for future events, but the castle is so big that we need a bigger warehouse. Any realtors out there that knows of any ware house spaces in North Baltimore?
