The Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall was opened on September 16, 1982 and has been the home of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra from its inception. Having hosted such luminaries as Yo-Yo Ma, Joshua Bell, Emanuel Ax, Harry Connick, Jr. and Allison Krauss, The Meyerhoff is a bastion of both refinement and popular entertainment in the city of Baltimore. The Meyerhoff seats an audience of 2,443 and is known for both its excellent acoustics as well as the unique circular design that makes it one of the most recognizable buildings in all of Baltimore.

Renting the Baltimore Symphony Hall for Events
The Meyerhoff is not merely a state of the art auditorium for the production of symphonies and other musical events. The Meyerhoff’s lobby space and numerous rooms make an ideal setting for a wide variety of events, ranging from business meetings, seminars, exhibitions, trade shows, private parties, weddings, receptions, galas, banquets and other large events. The Meyerhoff offers an event management team, or those choosing to rent this magnificent space can plan and host their event with the aid of their own chosen event planner.

The Meyerhoff is replete with individual venues in which an event can be hosted. The auditorium itself can be rented for corporate meetings, receptions and any other manner of business or personal event, and both ticketed and non-ticketed events are made possible through collaboration with the Meyerhoff planners. The auditorium is also a popular choice for those interested in hosting concerts, fundraisers, graduations and charitable events.
